The largest annual attraction to the Oviedo area would have to be the 10th Annual A Taste of Oviedo. Last year, Oviedo officials estimated the crowd at around 35,000. Also, nearly 200 artists, crafters and businesses will be there with a great deal to offer.

The Oviedo Marketplace is a great place to shop, with anchor stores such as Dillard's, Burdines and Sears. The Oviedo Marketplace provides a great atmosphere, with modern decorations, great landscaping, and a fun play ground inside the mall for kids to enjoy.

The Gymnasium & Aquatic Facility on South Division Street provides an Olympic Swimming Pool (Big Kahuna), Splash Zone Activity Pool, Fitness Room, High School Regulation Basketball Court, Multi-Purpose Room, Offices, Concession, Trailhead Gazebo, Locker Rooms and Rest Rooms, Playground. This pool area is a fun place for kids, and it´s safe too. On the weekends, it´s staffed with trained life guards, but get there early, the pool fills up quick, and there is a limit as to how many people they will let in!

For a fun night out, eat, drink and be merry at The Black Hammock Restaurant. They have great fresh sea food, a live band on Saturday nights, and also offer Airboat rides.
